YouTube is an American online sharing platform, its headquarters are in son Bruno, California. It is in the industry of video hosting services and the Internet. On YouTube you are able to create your own content whether that be a blog, a short film, or a music video. Because of the population that YouTube has gathered there are people who now make YouTube videos for that day job and as their channels become more popular they are paid to create content. After searching through YouTube i found many different types of animation ranging from CGI, 2 paper cut out animation to animation scenes that have been used in movies such as Star Wars they have used stop motion animation to create these scenes, but I also found short stop motion animation films that people have created and uploaded. I feel this was a lot different compared to Netflix As it was more communal as there were a range of videos on there and you were able to share these with a community. After researching the different stop motion animations on YouTube I've realised not only were they different from each other but they were also about different topics and some of them had different morals that they were trying to convey . I feel that my short stop motion animation movie would work best on YouTube As I am putting it out into a community with other short stop motion animation films. Unlike Netflix I am able to simply upload it onto YouTube but if I decided that I wanted it to be on Netflix I would have to go through a long process in which to do this And I am not an established producer or company so this would be unlikely. So overall I have decided the platform the iron will be putting my short stop motion animation onto will be YouTube.

voxpops
vox pops
I decided to do voxpops instead of a focus group with my target audience as I wasn't able to do focus group due to the coronavirus. I asked my target audience questions that I knew I would preferred to be answered verbally instead of though a survey I feel as though the answer where more honest and the people took more time to think.
Daniella -
she though my idea would be interesting due to the time in which it was set in and audience may enjoy that, she thought that because it is set in a different time frame the script would be different to if it was set in the modern day because in the victorian era they spoke differently to how we speak today and different aspects would be different she though that also because of the time period of this animation I would need to think closely about the location of the animation and how I could design my set to make it look as though a dark alley in the victorian era how can I make it historically actuate, also because the clothing wore ion the victorian era is different to the clothing we were in the modern era how can I reprsent that though costume design and my is look as though that was the clothes wore in the victorian era. She thought that the story line I presented to her was different from other animation and that meant it would be engaging as this Is new and different for audiences to watch she also thought that the moral of the animation was important and had a good meaning behind it so she also though it would be engaging and something audience would want to see. A way Daniella thought I could make it better would be to add more character if the animation was longer because this would be engaging for the audience and that. because there are new faces appearing in. the animation this is keeping them engaged, because watching the same two character for a long amount of time can become boring for an audience and they can lose interested. Daniella thought that the platform t hat would b e best for my animation would be youtube as that it where most animation and stop motion short are and you most likely to want to watch them on their but she thought because it was clay it might be a possibility to watch it on Netflix as some on Aardman film have appeared on Netflix and also has some short animations. Daniella thought that it might be quite challenging to make the figures and the ;location as these are time consuming and need to look of a high quality and actuate, she though that if I already have all the material I need for my animation I would have any problem of having to go out an by the materials in these current times.
Callan-
Callan thought that in theory the idea was good but he said that because it is stop motion animation I need to take into account the emotions that I want to convey from the animation and to make the audience feel, he thought that this would be my hardest challenge as this was hard to pull off as clay is a hard median to work this an stop motion animation is difficult in term of showing the emotion that I want to hence why it need to be of such a high standard. Callan then want onto the point of voices weather it would be do verbally or non verbally, if it was verbally then it may become an character to match the voice up to the animation , it term of the character/ puppets lip syncing. But its was nonverbally the story telling of the animation would have to be of a very high standard. He then began talking about which platforms would be suitable for my animation to play onto and viewed on he said that if you put it on netfilx not only would it have to be of a very high standard like Aardman it may also be critiqued as some many think the message I am conveying is wrong and its not an important issue, but if it was place onto youtube to only would be a better platform it would also viewed better on there an because it would been seen as much as it would be on youtube to Netflix's. He said that if the exclusion of the animation was good that will make it more engaging for audiences. Callan said the way that he like to kept his video engaging was to use interesting visuals, he said if what's going is visual interesting for audience will want to watch it and be more engaged themselves.
Katie-
Katie the the concept of the idea and thought that it would work well and she thought that the moral in the animation was good and it would connect well with audiences, she thought most of all that the concept would be engaging for audiences and something that they would want to see. She thought it really important for me to make the story in which the homelessness give engaged and interesting this would make the animation better. She thought that if I was able to put emotion In the story that would make it even more engaging for audience, she think it is important for the audience to feel a strong emotion whilst watching the animation. She thinks that it is important for the audience to be able to feel emotional for the character whilst the animation is happening because this leaves an effect on. the audience after watching it and makes the animation better. Katie thought that youtube would be and ideal platform for this animation because that is most common for animations to be viewed on. She thought that finally the main challenge I could face would be telling the story how see it in my head thought clay animation may be a struggle. but as long as I have strong story telling and being able to do that thought clay.

rich and poor victorians.
- Wealthy victorians enjoyed a good and easy life
- poor victorians had a rough and hard life, often working in the workhouse or an early death.
The poor
- had less luxuries and had to survive on very basics
- they couldn't afford to buy to buy expensive or luxury food so brought what they could afford
- there living conditions were damp and dirty as they couldn't afford to live anywhere nicer
- many children that belonged to poor families often died of disease as they couldnt survive these conditions.
the wealthy
- rich victorians had enough money meaning they didn't have to work
- their children were given an education
- they lived in large houses with servants waiting on then
- they went on holiday
being poor meant having little money or few possessions because they simply couldnt afford anymore. Children from the families that we're thought of as poor would have to go out and work so they could earn money to help their families survive. Having a job as a rich victorian was one of the only ways to have money, so having a job was really important to them, having more money meant you were able to eat and buy better food and live in better conditions but for some victorians this just wasn't possible. The "very poor" victorians had no home and that meant they had to sleep at the workhouses and the conditions of the work houses were awful. Middle and upper classed victorians made up around 15 percent of the English Victorian age population. There was a huge gap between the classes family of the middle class were still considered wealthy and tended to have fathers with jobs such as doctors, lawyers etc these jobs were well payed. The upper class were just 2% of the population, the upper class were able to afford servants, cookers, gardeners etc, although the middle class were also wealthy the could not afford these. The servants that were employed were often from another country, they were payed low wages but they were provided clothes and food and a living space by their employers. Middle class and upper class families living is large houses they had enough room for themselves, their children and their servents, these were the kind of house poor victorians could only dream of. The large victorian houses had features such as beautiful stainless windows and pattended brick work, this was very different to what the rich victorians lived like, cold damp floor, not heating, not light. Upper class families children spent most of there time with there nanny or school, the nanny looked after the children and taught them manners, the rest of the time they would be with there private tutor, the sons of the family often went to boarding school this. would have been thought of as very expensive in the Victorian era with only the upper class being able to afford this. the upper class victorians didn't show any interest in giving charity for the lower class children to go to school and get a proper education.

homelessness in the victorian era
life living of the streets of London in the victorian era was difficult, they had to sleep during the police because otherwise the police would move them of at night. Homelessness became a big problem in London as the drift from country to towns rise in the early 19th century. The Navigators or the navvies they were also known as arrived in big groups wanting to build railway lines. but questions such as where would they sleep or what would they eat needed answering and if a labourer lost his job, he and his family may be made homeless and this was worrying for many victorians. There was a huge growth of slums and is often close to wealthy areas. Prince Albert tried to improve housing for the poor and took up the architect Henry Roberts in 1840, they wanted to improve the living condition for the poor. sanitation was a pervasive problem. Few houses had drainage, and there were few toilets, several hundred people, shared one standpipe - a single outdoor tap - for all their water supply drink, cooking, washing etc, they had one or two, toilets for everyone. Many slum were housed down very narrow alleys, the passageways that were originally made for stables, the alleys we're so small the house were only able to have windows from only one side of the house. Charley was a hard worker that lived in the slums, she and her siblings were only three in a room, but only families had to fit 6 people into one too, who might aswell have to take in lodgers to share the cost as it was still so experience to live her. These rooms ranged in price and went by you pay for what you get so the cheapest rooms were often cellars which were damp and dark and thee floor were gross. There were improvements in 1826 when the streets transformed from dirty alleys to stately clean streets to palaces and mansions, to elegant private dwelling.

target audience
my target audience play a big part in my project as I need to tailor my animation to interest my target audience. The target audience that I have picked is 15-24, I have picked this target audience because I feel although this is the audience that I think would be most impacted from my animation and the target audience that I would most like to see the effect of my animation shown on. I feel this target audience still have a sense of innocence as are still childish in certain way so the message that I want them to understand is don't judge someone by the way they look. I feel as though this target audience is often on social medias and social networking sites like Tiktoc is feel as though in modern day sociality and espacily for this target audience it is very easy to judge some for why they look without taking the time to get to know them for example Kylie Jenner is a big name and uses Instagram a lot I feel a lot of teenagers see her a big star and a perfect person however 99.99% of people don't really know what see is like as a person but by they way is appear pursue she a very nice person or another example would be a person walking around like everyone else but they just dress differently and people instantly think they are dangerous or they should stay away from this person without knowing what they are really like. I don't just think this issue is just problem for my target audience but for most person but the reason I picked this target audience is that they haven't spent the main part of there lives thinking like this at this a I feel it isn't to late to start thinking something else as their not completely brainwashed yet. Another reason I picked this target audience was because I am fit that target audience so I am able to connect with them on a more emotional level and get a first hand experience into what I think they would like to see but also what I think would make them loss interest. As I continue with my planning as am able to constantly kept in plan of what I think they would like to see what they wouldn't.

stop motion animation
stop motion animation is a technique used in animation to bring a static object to life on the screen. this is done by moving an object in very small motions whilst filming a frame per movement. Then the frame/ picture are played together in a sequence and the animation come to life. stop motion animation is as old as film itself. Before the advent of chronophotography in 1878, a scarce amount of images sequences were photographed with subject in different poses. Theses are now regarded as a form of stop motion animation, but not all results were meant to be animation.1895-1928 it is now estimated that. 80-90 percent of silent films have been lost, it is possible that stop - motion animations are even harder to trace. The principles of stop motion animation and other special effects are kept a secret to kept from other copy them but also to keep audiences interested in the magic tricks/ illusion. Another technique similar to stop motion is stop trick, this is when the camera is temporally stopped during filming of a scene to create a change before filming is continued. French trick film pioneer Georges Melies claimed to be the inventor of the stop-trick animation he used this technique in many of his film meaning that's why they became so popular. Edwin S. Porter was an American film pioneer filmed a single- shot "lighting. sculpting' film with baker holding faces from a patch of dough in fun a bakery shop (1902), considered as foreshadowing of clay animation. J. Stuart Blackton's The Haunted Hotel (23 February 1907) it featured a combination of live -action with practical special effects and stop motion animation of several objects, a puppet and a model of the haunted hotel, this was the first stop-motion animation to receive a wide scale appreciation. "The Humpty Dumpty Circus"(1908, considered lost) by Blackton and his British- American Vitagraph partner Albert E. smith showed an animated performance of the figures from a popular wooden toy set. Smith claimed that is was the first "stop-motion animation" in America. !930s and 40s Starewicz finished the first feature stop motion animation film "Le Roman de Renard (The tale of the Fox) in 1930, but a problem with the soundtrack delayed it release. In 1937 it was released with a German soundtrack and in 1941 with a French soundtrack. 1950s Ray Harryhausen learned O'Brien on the film Mighty Joe Young (1949). Harryhausen went to create many memorable stop motion effects over the next 3 decades. some of these included The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953), It camel from Beneath the Sea (1955), Jason and the Argonauts (1963), The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1973) and Clash of the Titans (1981). 1960 to 70s Japanese puppet animator Tadahito Mochinaga started out as assistant animator in short anime (propaganda) films Archan (1941) and Momotaro no Umiwasi (1943) , he fled to Manchukuo during the war and stayed in China afterwards, his work help popularise puppet animation around 1953 when he continued working as animation director. British television has shown many stop-motion animation series for young children since the 1960s on example from the 1960s is Snip and snap by John Halas he worked with a paper sculptor Thoki Yenn featured a dog snap cut from paper with a pair of scissors Snip. 1980s to present In the 1970s and 80s stop -motion model animation in such films as the original Starwars trilogy some scene were filmed using stop-motion animation. In the UK, Aardman animation continued to grow with being one of the biggest and best animation companies today, they are known for creating Wallace and Gromit and Chicken run etc.

stage fright is about a performer "Tiny" who does shows with his dogs who can do tricks and audience used to enjoy seeing him but he was now becoming unpopular as audiences wanted to see something new they were interested in films and the film included a women and Mr Hue, In these films the man is shown as the heroin and saves the ladies, one of tiny dogs are shown in the film making them popular to the audience and Mr Hue as stolen the dog to put it in. the film to try and make money out of it, when the women asks to return him mr Hue blackmails the women and tells her to kept her mouth shut if she wants anymore puts in films .The women finally leave to start a new film career but she knew that it was Tiny training the dog and she knew she couldn't tell anyone The women is supportive to Tiny and wants to help him were the man is the villain in the animation and wants Tiny gone, the women isn't happy with her career and working with the man so she try to stop him whilst the man is trying to kill Tiny, but the women ends up pushing the man and killing him but then the theatre which is the location for the animation begins to fall down but tiny wants to stay but the women convinces him otherwise. thorough the main part of this story it is told but the women and her perspective. The animation is possibly set in the Victorian era because of the Black and White films are also the clothing and locations and props

This shot is at 1:20, this is the shot just before Tiny is about to go onto the stage and perform for the last time before getting kick off, this is a Mid shit as we can he from the hips up. of Tiny and the dogs head are peering from the bottom of the shot but are still visible, the background for this shoot is the backstage of the theatre, you can tell it backstage because of the narrative and also the props that have been used in the background such as the costumes and wooden crates. this gives the animation, an old fashioned look. due to the costumes that Tiny and the Dogs are wearing you are able to tell that this is set in possibly the Victorian era when black and white films wear becoming popular. In this shoot Ting has a very nervous look on his faces he is just about to go on the lighting for this scene is bright whilst creating shadows on Tiny's face.
|
This shot is at 3.27, this when Tiny has been kick of the stage and then the black and white film begins, the effect that animation was showing is that is an old film and the camera / recording quality isn't good, this is very similar to what it would have been in the that time, this animation has really thought hardly of making the detail historically actuate making the audience believe the story even more this is something that I want to include my animation as it is set in the same time period as this one, the story of the film is the heroin saves the women this is a very old and traditional story line, thought this movie they use a mid shot and here a long shot and in the background is a cliff from where the women has just been saved. The clothes the puppets are wearing is also historically actuate and shows her femininity and his masculinity which was very prompt-ant in films in this time period.
|
this shot is at 3.34, this is when the film cut and we see behind the scene of the shot film but this is now in colour I really liked this part in the animation and the quick difference from the black and white to colour, they have made the filming set up very similar to what it would have been like in at time period with the painted backdrop on a piece of cloth and the two studio lights shown in the front you can see the crew dressed in old fashion clothing once again showing the time period of the animation, the camera angle for this shot is a long shot as we are being made to focus on the women and Mr Hue as a scene between them is about to begin. Because the background for this scene is very simplistic is shown the time period and in. that time the production money would have been high. the studio lights are still shining on Mr Hue and the women making this scene brightly lit.
|
this shot is at 7.27, the women has had enough of the bullying from Mr Hue, and Mr Hue goes to find Tiny with the intention to kill him as Mr Hue is talking to Tiny the women pushes a sandbag at Mr Hue kicking him out, the women then walks over to Tiny this shot is darkly lit to show sadness or fear but there are still some rays of light shining onto Tiny from above, this shot the camera is facing down its peering over the women's shoulder and looking down as Ting as he is hanging from the wood in the theatre, you are able to see that the theatre looks very old are dilapidated hence the broken piece of wood Tiny is hanging from. Tiny looks very ruff in this scene and look like a he been ruffed up I think he's been shown this way so the audience feel simpatico for him .
|
this shot is at 8.55, this is when Mr Hue has been flattened but the backdrop of the theatre and the women turns around to see in Tiny is still hanging from the piece of wood and he isn't she looks down a Hugh ray of light shines up onto her face lighting her. entire face, I feel is a very beautiful moment in the animation and it creates such an effect and emotion for the audience as they wonder what this ray of light is, the women has a shocked facial expression and also her hand gesture is showing that she is shocked by what she can see, the background for this shot is a washed out beige colour because they want the audience to focus just on her, the camera angle for this shot is close up and also an extreme close up, I feel this is a big part in the film and what happens next shocks the audience.
|
this shot is at 9.33, the scene is surreal this is when Mr Hue returns but as a ghost you can see this because Mr Hue is transparent, he rise up from his body but the women and Tiny aren't sure wether he is dead or not hence why they look so shocked due from their facial expression and hand gestures , Tiny's dog surround him showing they feel safe around him, the light is still shining up and brightly from the whole that Tiny was hung on in the stage, that light is lighting the women and Tiny's back, behind them you can see the theatre looking dark and empty. The camera is angled tilled to right of the screen I think this scene is amazing because of the special effects used and how they are able to make Mr Hue transparent.
|
this shot is at 10.42, this is the final shot of the animation, the ghost go mr Hue's has fallen down the hole in the stage in the theatre, just after that happens the theatre begins to collapse so tiny and the women begin to run out but tiny stop when he gets to the door because he has forgotten his hat but the women tell him the show must go on, so they leave and begin to walk about the door which is this shot, a hugh. white/yellow light is shining onto to them I think that this is emphathsising hope for them, I have seen this shot in a lot of film before but never an animation but I think it works well to tell the story and to emphasis that there is hope for Tiny and the women. the women also has her hand placed on Tiny's back to show the friendship that has been prompt between theses too through the animation.

disappear
this animation is really powerful although it is only 4 minutes you feel in shock, Disappear is about a man is looks asthough he as a lot of work as this is evident though the animation, the animation begins with the telephone ringing, and the man walks though the door but doesn't answer it but it continues to go of whilst in the scenes in the apartment, he then put his dinner in the microwave and walks over to his dining room table he picks up lots of report and flicks though them most of them say overdue , important etc, whilst this is happening the. phone is still ringing and his beeper that is attached to him goes of and it says work, he then looks out his window and and looks into the other apartment window that it opposite to his but it is never evident why, he then takes his dinner out of the microwave and looks at it , he then walks over to his wardrobe and opens it with the key he then looks in the mirror and does a magic trick it then cuts to him on the stage and he does two magic trick firstly he turns and flower into a dove and then he pulls a rabbit out of a hat seconds after he as done that his beeper goes off and says work he makes the rabbit disappear then himself, we are then taken back to an empty apartment, then is a pan of the whole apartment and the camera zooms down onto the floor and the blanket he used and his beeper are lying on the floor and then the animation end I think this animation is very powerful and has a strong message.
platforms |
this shot is at 0:24, this is one the first scenes in the animation then phone had been ringing for the previous 20 seconds before he had walked into the apartment, the camera is pointing to the phone ringing on the table, and as he walks in he see a mid shot in his torso and hips to his knees he is wearing a dull colour suit we get the impression he has just returned from work, it is shooting black and white and is thought the whole animation, I feel that shadows play a big role in the animation as they create a gloomy effect and give a miserable feeling to the animation, you are able to see an outline or reflection of the window created by the shadows and also on the back wall is a black and white picture which might be flowers, there is a dull light shining onto the man torso in this shot. this shot is at 0:33, this he has turned the lights on and hung is coat up and is now stretching, this is the firs time in the animation when we see his face for the first time, I think the director chose to make the man stretch to show that is tired and his job is very tiring. Because he has turn the light on in he apartment, we are able to see more as the audience the phone and picture and door are more prompt-ant, there are still shadow that are there on the back wall but they look a lot more faded then they did before the lights were turned on, the camera is still facing the same position as it has been from the start, the only reason we can see his face. now is because he is leaning down. this shot is at 0:55, this shot takes place after he has put his dinner in the microwave he then walks over to his dining room table and pick up work/ reports that he hasn't completed as he scrolls through these we are able to see just the amount of work he is behind on or got to do. the camera is angled slightly to the left looking over his shoulder, it make the audience feel although they are standing behind him. The report he is holding says annual report on the front and the a post it not that is slightly tilted to the left is written on it him hand writhing says overdue. The light for this shot is a dark and light possibly coming from the window there is a prompt light over the report and his back. whilst he is doing this the phone is still ringing. this shot is at 1.08, this is the shot just seconds after he as looked though his reports he then looks down at his buzzer and it says work. The camera is angled to make it look as though it has sight and so the audience can see what he is seeing his perspective. the man is looking down at his waist, the buzzing is black and was electric letter "WORK" in capital letter written on it, I feel. this is an important part in the animation because in a way we are able to get a basic understand of how he is feeling because were not only focus on the buzzer we also have the distraction of the phone ringing in the background and also the microwave cooking. I felt this scene very powerful as an audience member and you are made to stop and think, the light is once again down elegantly and natural because it is black and white capturing the direct place on the items on the screen/shot. this shot is at 1:22, this is after he has looked at his buzzer he then looks over at the phone as it is still ringing, he then looks out of the window, I don't really understand why he is as it is not made very clear in the story of the animation but is one again made to look beautiful due to the black and white colour used thought, In this shot he is looking though the window at the apartment window which is directly opposite to him, before this shot we had a view point made by the camera to make it look at though we were standing behind him and now he can see the window frame in front of the man like we are looking into his apartment this could possible be the view from the apartment opposite his, the other apartment is brightly lit which make a difference as his is dark and gloomy ,the lighting for this scene is once again elegant and natural as the light shining though onto him is carefully hitting his face at the right moments. Whilst this scene is happening the phone is still ringing, but also what make this scene / shot so beautiful is that it is completely still and the only other thing we can hear in the background is the phon I feel this create a powerful effect on the audience. this shot is at 2:15, this shot is after he has taken his dinner of the microwaves, he then sits down at the table and then looks over to his wardrobe and gets up and walks over to reaches for the key which is above the wardrobe and he begins to open it, which is this shot. In the shot he has his head leaning down to see his hand on the handle he is sightly hunched over, he has once had on the handle and another on the key opening the wardrobe, the camera is angled to tilt right to the screen as we can see the right side of his body, the wardrobe look wore out as there in a crack on one of the doors this could indicate he has lived here for a long time and his furniture is wore out just like him. The lighting for this shot is there is a bright light shining on the back of him reaching his head and back and shoulders this light could possibly be coming from the window that is behind him. this shot is at 2:18, this shot is showing that he has just he has just opened the wardrobe and we can look inside, there are a range of items in this shoot but all associated with magic, there are playing cards, ball, a bird cage. This is indicating that possible behind his work he has a passion to be a magician, hence all of his things inside. The camera is a straight on shot the man is standing in-front of the wardrobe this shot is a close up and we can see his shoulders, the light from the window is shining into the warder and largely onto his back, nearer the back of the selves the remain white. this is an important part in the animation as we learn that this mens life isn't as boring as it seems this shot is at 2:30, after the previous shot he beeper goes of once again and we have the same shot of him looking down at his beeper he then turns around and looks into the mirror he then move his hands and does a magic trick result in a flower in his hand. this scene is surreal but amazing as it reveals the man has a secret talent which is magic. in this shot the camera in facing behind him and it a close us we can see his shoulder and head, but the shot is made to make it look like its all happing though a mirror, I really like this effect as it felt magic in itself I feel as though it was very fitting for the scene. The image from thee mirror is well lit as the light from thee other window is shining though reflecting onto the mirror. behind the man we are able to see to piece of card which maybe possibly be letter this shows he has travelled and is possibly and intelligent man. This shot is at 2:46, after he has done the magic trick in the mirror he is then transformed onto the stage when he turns his head this was a very slick movement, he is then holding the flower in his hand as he turns to the audience he turns to face the audience straight on and does a magic trick were he put a cloth over the flower and it transformed into a dove, In this shot we can see the man releasing the bird and watching it as it flies away, his posture is slightly bent and his arm in elated to show he is releasing the bird. the camera angle is straight on and is a mid shot as we can see his upper chest. The lighting in this scene is brightly lit as there is a spotlight shining onto him and the curtain behind him, the spotlight is highlighting his front. this shot is at 3:15, this shot is after he has done the first magic trick, he bows infant of the audience and then does the rabbit in the hat trick, once he as pull the rabbit out of the hat the then puts the cloth over the rabbit and it disappear, he then behinds to put the cloth over himself, we know as an audience he is about to disappear, The camera angle for this shot is a long shot and a wide shot and we are able to see the full length of the man, and the surrounding curtain, the cloth that he is hold over cover the top half of the man , the light for this shot is the spotlight that had been used thought this scene. Aside from the spotlight the rest of his surroundings are completely black. this makes that audience have to focus on the man, this scene is also completely silent. this shot is at 3:39, this is one of the final shots of the animation, since the previous shot he disappears after throwing the cloth over himself and then the scene then transforms back into him apartment there is then a continues zoom around the apartment until the camera gets to his wardrobe which is the last place we saw the man, the camera zooms down onto the floor there lies his blanket that he used to disappear with and his beeper that he has used thought the animation, the blanket is lied quite neatly on the floor and the beeper is standing uo at an angle on the blanket, the camera is facing down whilst it is a long shot it then zoom in closer for last shot just to the beeper this tells us that the beeper might have been the reason that he disappear, I feel this is a power ended and leaves the audience feeling breath taken as nobody knows were he has gone. this a youtube video that was made to show a behind the scene look of how disappear was made, after watching this video I was able to understand the processor the the film and the meaning behind each film, I felt Moree knowable after watching and it helped with my understand and also the material used to create this animation. Netflix is an American company, they are a media service provider and a production company as they also make films themselves, their headquarters or in California and production hubs in Mexico, New York City, Madrid Spain and Buckinghamshire UK. They are a film distribution are and television distribution, Netflix has 61.4 million US subscribers and a world count at the end of 2019 stood at 167 million. After researching Netflix in terms of animation the most common form of animation that i found on this platform happened to C GI animation this type of animation is made through a computer software and it's becoming the most common form of animation. After searching through Netflix, I was able to find 9 of our Aardman animation films but most of them were Wallace and Gromit I also found one film by a another animation company. But as I continue to search i did not find any short stop motion animation films so I don't believe that Netflix would be the most successful platform for my stop motion animation to be shown onto and also because of the other stop motion animation films on there being of such a high and recognised companies I don't think mine would be suitable for this. So overall I have decided the platform the iron will be putting my short stop motion animation onto will be YouTube. professionals Nick Park - Nicholas Wulstan Park, CBE, RDI, is an English animator and director. In 1997 Dreamwork and Aardman began working on there first film together chicken run., The film was a huge success and the team sign a contact to say they would work with each other again and they are as they are in the process of making chicken run 2. After chicken run Nick and Aardman went back to creating Wallace and Gromit and used clay animation with clay figure and then they brought out a curse of the were rabbit. When dreamwork and Aardman make Chicken run they signed a contact to say they would work together again in the next 12 years so they made flushed away this was a mix between CGI animation and also clay motion. But then the company decided that they didn't want to work together any longer due to creative differences. In 2005, there was a hug fire at Aardman and they lost over 30 years of models and set, in Aardman most current films they are using at more CGI in there animation but are still keeping the clay aspect that is true to there company, we are still awaiting new Wallace and Gromit but unfortunately Peter Sallis that did the voice for Wallace died so they have replaced the voice and are hopefully in the making of new Wallace and Gromit films |
